Manual Hub Question
I've got a question about Ranger hubs. When I purchased my Ranger it came with the standard automatic hubs. After about 14,000 miles I had them replaced under warranty at the Ford dealership at my request the dealership replaced the automatics with manual hubs. My question is does anyone know how well the Ford manual hubs hold up vs the various after market brands out there? I've got 91,000 miles on the truck now and so far I haven't had any problems with the manual hubs, but I don't do much off roading either.

are the hubs actually ford hubs?? cuz i thought ford trucks that came w/ manual hubs had warn hubs?? maybe i am wrong. but in my opinion, manual hubs are always going to be more realiable, but i've only had experience w/ the mile marker hubs and they have never failed, there really isnt too much to go wrong w/ them really.

I looked at the hubs when I pulled them off to do my last brake job and I didn't see any sort of brand markings. They look like the pictures that I have seen of the warn hubs, but instead of saying warn on the dial in the center of they hub they say ford. Maybe ford just puts there logo on the hub after they get it from warn.
