I am trying to change my avatar from a picture of me, to a picture of ole Blue my 82 f100 but I can't any suggestions on how I do it? Where it says to upload from computer can't be used and I don't know why.

What is the exact error message? Uploading an avatar pic is just like an Album pic except it doesn't resize (shrink) automatically, you need to first ensure it's a small picture.

You might have to resize it (make it smaller). I can tell you how to do this if you aren't sure - let me know.

This site is a little finicky with pictures. If you try to upload a picture that's too big, it doesn't give you an error message - it just doesn't work (in my experience).

It should say something like:

Upload of picture failed

if the software has a problem with what you're trying to upload.



Alternatively, getting a Database Error is a different problem and isn't pertinent only to Albums but to all of FTE forums as a whole.

i got it figured out, i can't do it on my ipad, i had to do it on my desktop! What a dummie i am. Sorry to be a bother
