Daystar 2" Front Leveling Kit

If I add the 2" Daystar front leveling kit I do NOT need to add a +2" shock as the kit goes above the shock. I want to make sure I am correct on this before I order my new Rancho 9000's. Thx!

Yes I believe you do, as you are still increasing the distance of travel. I added a ready lift 2" leveling kit and added longer front units to compensate. I looked up daystar site and found " If there are extra items required, such as longer shocks, it's clearly stated in the application description" so I guess it depends on the product. What kit are you looking at? FORD F250/F350 4WD 2005-12 COMBO KIT W/ 2-1/2"LEVELING KIT & SCORPION SHOCKS

You are correct Raptor. Also, per their website they only make a 2.5" for the 4x4 (which I have). I am assuming I would be ok (if I use the 2.5" leveling kit) to order my front Rancho's in +2.5" version? I may need to call Rancho on this one. I want to switch to 20" rims don't think their 1" leveling kit will be enough unless someone knows for sure. Thx!

You can fit 20" rims with no front lift needed if you use the right size tire. That's how Ford did it. However, a significant increase in tire diameter will require a lift to clear it.
