Fuel guauge, visor light problem solved!
2006 F-150 Lariat. First post but based on what I've read, others have experienced similar problems. Fuel gauge pegged below E, visor lights did not work and overhead map lights only worked when dashlight dimmer rotated to on position.
After checking all the fuses I thought could be related and reading what I could find on this forum and trying everything else I could think of, I started checking other fuses. Found fuse 24 blown, replaced it and fuel guage and all lights now work properly.
Fuse 24 is labeled battery saver power for demand lamps...not sure what that has to do with the fuel guage but it worked. Posting this in case others have a similar issue.

that worked!
just bought a used 2008 Lariat, got it home and saw the Homelink and visor lights not working. after some searching online I found your post. I pulled that fuse and sure enough it was blown. I would never have known it was that fuse based on the description in the manual. Thanks for the post!
