HEADER HELP
As you can see im new here. I have a 96 f250 heavy duty 4x4 auto with a 5.8. In the process of installing a gibson super truck exhaust and when I was pushing my cat up to secure it where my rusted hangers used to hold it, i think i somehow knocked something loose up front and now i have an exhaust leak up there. Is it even the headers? Can someone give me some insight on how hard they are to replace

Does the truck still have the old y pipe? If so, it's possible that you knocked the AIR tube for the cat loose, or that the small tube that's welded between the two down pipes that the O2 sensor is mounted in is cracked.

Also, welcome to FTE! Lots of great people and information here.

I doubt you just "knocked" your exhaust manifold(s)/header(s) loose by pushing up on the exhaust. Check all of the small things first and any of the exhaust pipe connections. Get under there while it's running, and put your hand near the pipes to try to feel for a leak. Be careful not to burn yourself.
