1997 F250 problems

I am having problems with my 1997 F250 heavy duty truck. Rats chewed up my injector wiring to injectors # 3 & 4. I have repaired the places chewed and reinstalled the wiring.
But, now when I start it only injector # 6 is firing. Injectors # 1 & 5 do not exhibit any firing. These are the only injectors that I can get to with the upper manifold installed. The engine appears to be running on only 4 cylinders.
I did drive the truck several miles with the bad wiring. Could this have fried the computer?
Thanks, Jerry

If you do indeed have the 97 Super Duty and not the 97 Heavy Duty, then your post is in the wrong section. I suspect it will be moved before too much longer.

F-250 problems

I am not sure where it should be posted or I would move it myself.
I have now changed the type of truck. What is the difference anyway?
Thanks, Jerry

I guess Jerry is right, smaller trucks (F250) like yours did change from the OBD-I in 1997.
