Can anyone help with the voltage readings on a 2001 7.3?

I repaired a 99 electrical system last week for the same symptoms.
I removed the alternator and bench tested it at the local auto parts store.
Alternator checked good. I then load tested the batteries and cleaned the terminals. They too, tested good. I then inspected battery cables for corrosion. Checked OK. I then replaced the belt tensioner and idler pulley. They had 158,000 miles on the original Ford parts. I assumed that after 13 years of service and 158,000 miles the spring no longer held the correct tension for the alternator. After installation the flickering light ceased and has not come back on. Alternator output 14.0 to 14.5 amps. 2001 should be similar. Hope this helps.

13.4 at idle is marginal in my opinion. I would take it off and have it bench tested. Here's a link that should help:

push down on the little two wire plug on the alternator, and the light should go out.

This is out there a bit, but GPRs have been acting up lately. It's possible the glow plugs are coming on when they shouldn't.
