Nothing. Internally these engines are exactly the same, parts houses don't list anything for a '96 because that's when these 1/2 ton trucks changed from OBD1 to OBD2 but that's all external to the engine, so when shopping for internal engine parts just treat it as a '95.

ohh ok well that helps out alot, and back to that e303 cam basicaly it would be junk in my truck is what im understanding but i just found a magnum 266hr from comp cam that says its a good oem replacement and works with everything stock any info on this? or is it basically the same as whats in it now

All parts house references are to the stock Mustang cam.. they don't even know trucks exist. If you get suitable gears in the axles the Comp 35-320-8 would be a healthy upgrade, it's still gonna push the powerband up a little that's unavoidable, but nothing too radical it'll make good power from 2000rpm up and loads more HP on the topend.
