2012 f150 defrost problems

My windows do not defrost. Blows hot air and seems to blow out defrost vents ok. When I bought the truck last winter no problem untiL A /C would not cool cab in summer. Now it's winter and no defrost.. I have takin into dealer and they said compressor is kicking on ok but still no moisture leaves the cab. It is dry here in Kansas so when we get rain I will have to sponge the windows. Help! Thanks in advance

Take it back, it should still be under warranty.

Take it to another dealer----could be a leak in the A/C system hence no cooling or defrost action.

Some late model super duty had leaking evaporators. I replaced about 10 of them myself.

The local ford dealer gave up and sent me to customer service where a young girl tried to help. They told me that wet feet can cause this etc... Which pis?ed me off! They said also to drive with window cracked with AC max on with heat turned up. At this time I blew a gasket! I'm taking to another Ford dealer 60 miles from home...they said it sounded like the coil is not draining and is plugged up. I hope this is it. Will wait and see. Thanks for responding

Wow---that's sure some poor service you've received locally---hope the 60 mile trip gets better results.

FWIW I too would have come completely unglued, especially if they tried blaming my feet for foggy windows! (That's simultaneously hilarious AND sad!)

Love to know how the next dealer solves this problem---sounds somewhat encouraging so far though.

PS: wear clean socks and dry shoes!
