Last Leg of a Long Journey (Plenty of Pictures)

I have looked around on the forums for years, but haven't done a lot of posting. Since I retired my day has changed from going to work to playing with my old trucks. Today I finished the outside of my 76 F350, hopefully one or two more days and the whole thing should be finished. It would be done now but the repo wing window gasket whistle better then I can, so I managed to find some NOS gaskets to change them out. Here are some pictures of the old gal what do you guys thank.

wyckedcombo17 I happened across this truck completely by accident, I had been working on a 70 shortbed I've got with no intension of buying another truck, went to buy so feed and seen this truck on my way there with a for sale sign in the window. I stopped and looked at it could not find a sign of rust anywhere, and just couldn't resist taking it home. Now it's a year and a lot of hours latter.

Looks like she is ready to haul the horse trailer to the Kentucky Derby. Nice job. I too am recently retired and am working on restoring a 76 F250. Got to have something to do besides doing the grocery shopping and emptying the dishwasher.

That's a real beauty! I love SCSs. Nice tailgate. Did you build it yourself? I'm thinking of doing something similar for my Crew.

Prior owner on my truck replaced all the seals on everything including the pop out window, got a window whistle myself.

Ordered the part, no idea how to install it but I'll figure it out. It's a repop too, did you luck out on ebay on the original?

Beautiful truck btw.

Thanks for all the comments, There is a lot of good looking trucks on this forum and I have stolen a lot of good ideas from all of you, it pays to be in the background sometime.

VocaTexas Yes I have built a couple tailgates like that, I also have one about like that one on a 92 Flareside that is my daily driver.

SilverTrucker, You are more then welcome, glad I could help, that tint sure changes the look of a truck.

privateer, eh, A good set of those mirrors are hard to come by, I lucked out and had two other sets off my 70 and a parts truck I had and ended up using pieces of all of them to to come up with what I used.
