Anyway, now, my Edge Juice W/Attitude tuner does not work. I guess its just the display part which I guess is not that uncommon. I called and it looks like it can be replaced for about $150.

I was told on this forum from the day I bought my Excursion (with the tuner already installed) that the Edge tuner is a POS...

Well, I figure why drop $150 to fix a POS when I can get something better. A few years ago I had a bit of a speed project going and I use SCT with custom tunes (guy called himself hemifever)... After a bit of research it looks like people are having good luck with SCT on these rigs too...

Is SCT the way to go? If so, who should I use to tune?

I dont want a handheld tuner since they are a PITA to change tunes. However, I cant seem to find the SCT Livewire. That one looks like it will fit my Edge pod. All I can find is the Livewire TS. I dont know how bit the TS is, but since its a totally different shape, I dont know where I will put it. Im not really interested in having it suctioned to my windshield.

So, does anyone know where to get the Livewire?

OR....

Does anyone have a Livewire TS and found a good spot for it? Anyone know of a dash pod that it will fit in? How about another another spot for it?

I have sct livewire ts. I got it because I wanted to tune and monitor. I have the egt probe, but have not installed it yet.

I just have it on the windshield in the lower corner of driver's side.

I have to say that I love it. I had neither a tuner or gauges before, so no real basis for comparison.

Matt and Larz at Gearhead were a pleasure to deal with and Matt's SRL tune is awesome.

 

My vote is for sct, they make a great tuner!
