bed floor replacement
i have 2 beds but neither are in great shape. 1 is trash except the floor. the other is in very good condition except the floor and the front piece. it looks as if it was splattered with acid. battery maybe?
i want to replace the floor of the better bed with this better floor. i have cut the first bed down to just the floor with cross members and the front piece. i then started to drill out the spots welds and this is quite the chore. any other ideas on how to do this? anyone else done this before?

Or for just about $100 buy a sheet of diamond plate! You've already done the hard part, now you just drill the holes, which are easy to measure out & bolt down then either tack weld, weld, or metal bonding adhesive the new "Deck" in place. Fast & nasty, but it'll take a lot more abuse that the original
