Cant decide, Chrome or Black?

Hey guys I'm having a dilemma I am about to pull the trigger to get some new rims and tires and i cant decide on the color. My truck is a grey and black two tone with an 05 front end conversion that has black billet in grille. I'm going to get 35" rubbers and 18" or 20" XD monster rims i just cant decide on color. i will be smoking the cab lights mirror lights and the rear brake lights. If i go with black rims i was thinking of doing the Harley Light mod any opinions?

Here's my truck now. (I have removed the running boards since these pictures were taken)

I think black rims would look awesome with the smoked lights and your darker coloured truck.

Lookin at your pics, chrome would be best. Smokin the lights would make a difference though.

My vote is for black wheels. They're much easier to care for than chrome.

I'm kinda biased though. One thing's for sure, new wheels make all the difference.

Nice trucks guys! My only real concern is that the bull bar on the front will look out of place BC its chrome. It does blend in with the front end tho.

normally i would automatically say chrome, but with the mods on your truck i think black would continue the overall look nicely.

Black wheels all the way. Later down the road, PTM your bumpers and powder coat the bull bar. That would look mean.

I'm not normally a fan of black wheels mixed with chrome, but your truck looks nice. Perfect blend of the two.

I played around with Photoshop earlier (I am not good at it lol) but here is kinda what I pictured. I couldn't get the second rim in lol I also did this in 10 min.

Thanks. Im not OCD about my truck. A little chrome and a little black and a little white and so on. When poeple go to the lengths to make all the parts just the right color and everything matches, to me it looks wrong. To me its about being original and its not likely I will ever come accross a truck exactly the same. I never even came accrross the same wheels as mine out in public.

Well said Quad I like to look more original, around me I'm lime the only super duty with out rotted out parts BC I'm OCD about rust lol. What would you guys think about the skid plate on the bull bar painted black? Its rusting a little so I could POR-15 it this summer along with my bed.

Just figured i would throw up a progress pic I decided to go with smoked lights and black rims. I got recon dark red tail lights and the smoked third brake light. I also got the smoked cab lights they should be in today or tomorrow, I'm going to hold off on the mirror lights because my mirrors are held together by super glue lol.
