Now that I've spent so much on family, and enjoyed doing it, the budget is tight, but I can't help dream about what I would buy for the truck if $ was not a concern. The list follows.

1). Remove the head and polish the chambers.
2). I'd either buy the Accelerated Motion cam, or the Howard's Cam on Summit, to give the engine a nice lope at idle.
3). A Redline Injection system.
4). A Clifford header with the 1 5/8" tubes.
5). New exhaust, dual, with nice tubo mufflers.
6). ZF trans install.
7). Red Head steering box.
8). All new SW gauges.
9). Heck, if $ was not an issue, I'd fly to Monaco and have the Ferrari waiting with a blond and my Tux to hit the casino.

What is your I6 Xmas wish?

 

A turbocharger, an intercooler, a forged crankshaft, all wrapped in a red Ferrari with the blond (you can keep the tux).

 

I need a new 4 barrel Holley.....

ZF tranny would be awesome.....

I think mine would be just time to work on it. I would like to do a Megasquirt EFI and low boost turbo setup some day.

Hrmm... If I had my true "Christmas list" for my Bronco, I'd have to say:

• Professionally port and polished head on a flow bench.
• Performance cam.
• Brand spankin' new and fully broken in engine.
• DUI distributor with a computer control connection.
• Multi-port fuel injection setup.
• Installed MegaSquirt setup so I can control my air/fuel ratios and timing in the driver's seat with a lap top.
• Either a ZF5 speed with 3.50 gears, or an NP-540(non OD) with 2.73 gearing.

I think that'd leave me quite satisfied.

 

My 300 isn't here yet, but when it does get here, it will be wrapped in a 1970 F-100 shortbed flareside pickup. My plans if $ was no object would be:

Complete engine rebuild, 260h cam, Offy DP intake, Hedmen headers, and a Duraspark ignition. Holley 390 or 500cfm carb. 3G alternator.

ZF trans, CV front IFS, Lincoln Mark VIII rear IFS. Power steering conversion, and 4 wheel disc brakes. Paint the truck B5 blue, and swap the flareside bed for a styleside bed.
