Well i decided that when i put the engine back in i would not put the convertor back in all the way - so of course i ruined the pump....

Its is the V6 automatic - trans not sure what one for sure

Basically what are the steps to remove the trans pump (hoping this is all i broke) I did put the convertor in all the way and it grinds like hell. The truck is going up for sale soon as i fix it so rebuilding the trans is not what im looking to do - fix the pump and hope the rest is alright

 

getting the pump off should be easy, theres several bolt holes on it, insert bolts into the threaded ones and use those to pull on to remove pump.
