flywheel rubbin block plate

ive got a 90 302 out of a ltd mated to a c4 with the small bellhousing so i used a tci flywheel with 157 teeth and 50 ounce balance im having a problem with the wait on the flywheel rubbing the starter housing and the block plate i've ordered a set of flywheel spacers from summit hoppig to fix this problem ,wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this, the trans was in the truck bolted to a 240 i used the same block plate and starter
