1994.5 F250 7.3L fuel leak
I pulled out the fuel bowl after watching a couple of "youtube" videos, my style of bowl differs from the video. I was looking for gaskets to replace, but all I see so far is blue fuel line connections. The fuel bowl heater piece on the outside looks plastic, don't want to break it...but it looks like that may have been leaking (I assume its the heater, two wires plug into it). any links to diagrams or instructions or advice from some ford masters...I'm an apprehensive rookie scared to break some thing.
also, can I occlude the two lines coming from the fuel pump and turn the key on to check the pump for leaks while I have the bowl out? a fare amount of diesel was in the valley, my luck I'll put the bowl back in and still have a leak. Any help is much appreciated.

re:leak
It appears my fuel bowl drains into the valley....I know I have a leak, perhaps not as big as it appeared. I thought about replacing the pump any way, but other post I've read talked about something on the pump getting dropped in the cam shaft (tappet?), made me not want to mess with it if I didn't have to.
