Reassembling 5.8, torquing & anti-seize??

I got my heads back today. Should I use anti seize on the head bolts or some type of thread locker?

It's going to be a long day and I'd hate to have to remove that upper intake again to check torque (what with the FI unit hanging over the passenger side valve cover).

No thread lock is needed. A thin (very thin) coat of oil isn't bad idea to help lubricate the threads as they're being torqued. A little thread lock on the intake bolts is a good idea too.

The head bolts will need a thread sealer and RTV works fine. Some people will tell you that these holes are blind and don't need to be sealed, but what if your block has a hidden casting defect for example? I recently had a coolant consumption problem on an engine that was traced back to the head bolts, it's cheap insurance that won't have any negative effect if it's not needed but could save the engine if it is.
