99 f250 superduty engine cutting out when raining

I have an issue where whenever it rains or even mists while driving it feels like the engine dies for a fraction of a second. Sometimes it will happen once, or twice if just misting or very damp out, but if it is raining hard it will happen every few minutes while driving at any speed. Only thing I can think of is that it might have something to do with the injector cutout sensor/device that shuts down the injectors when coasting at speed. Thanks for your help.

Go to Ford and ask for a CPS sensor.
Then install the CPS sensor.
