Reverse Sensor issue

Been working on getting the reverse sensing system working again. Light is off until put in reverse, then it comes on and stays on until the truck is shut off. Pulled the speaker and ohmed it out, 49 ohms. Put in reverse and all sensors are clicking. I can apply pressure to the face of the farthet driver side sensor and the system starts to work again. Im guessing that theres something loose inside the sensor as the harness is plugged in all the way. Any ideas?

What year is your Ex? My 2004 Ford Service CD indicates there are codes for the Parking Aid Module system you are referring to. I am not aware if the earlier models have the same?

My 03 has the same symptoms as "stebs'" except for the pushing in on a sensor making it work again. There has to be a module or circuit of some kind between the sensors, dash switch, and beeper. Does anyone know where to find it or if there is one?

Parking Aid Module (PAM) located below the rear blower motor housing, behind the right hand side rear trim panel.
