Relocate my neutral safety switch
Hey guys (and gals)... First of all please forgive me, not only am I new to those forum, this is my first forum posting ever..
Hers my problem. I have a bum foot and it is extremely difficult some days to push the clutch in far enough to engage the switch. I use my right foot most times, but if I'm parked on an incline, the e-brake isn't strong enough to hold the truck so I can start it.
I looked into bypassing the nss, clutch interlock safety switch? as I understand it's for safety, what about relocating it to a starter switch style push byron on the dashboard that I can press to start the truck.
I saw a part on here that mention using wires (from firewall towards steering wheel) 1,2, and I believe 4, and fusing them together to bypass. But which wires would I want to either splice or re route to a separate switch and still have all normal functions?
