Need some info on Chips/intakes

I have read all I can find on here about the 2 Stage Diablo Delta Performance Chip. I will be getting one soon for our '01 F150 4X4 OffRoad 5.4 automatic. The computer code is SVB2 I believe. This came from the passenger door area. I have the Cat back system into duals with the 2 chamber flowmaster and 3" tips. I am looking at an intake also. What is out there for intakes that will compliment the chip and exhaust without killing the wallet. Installation will most likely be my own. I have not been able to locate intake info so I could use some suggestions here. Thanks

Go with the Tymar. It runs about $115. A great system with awesome air flow and filtration. Seach this site for numerous threads on the Tymar system and where to purchase.

OK, just read/scanned nearly all the Tymar info. Everything indicates that it is used on the 7.3 PSD. I only saw a couple of references to a gas truck. Since the web site is not up and it is a Sat. evening, I will ask here, do they make them for my 5.4 and if so, I wonder why I have not found much info about them being in use.

All the intakes perform very similarly. The best bang for the buck is currently MAC intakes with air dam (more cold air):

Yes, you can feel the difference. I've experienced it in both a 3.0L and a 4.6L (similar to the 5.4L) and the effect was felt. Not just at wide open, but as with all HP mods, the more throttle the more gain.
