First of all, would just like to thank all you guys for all your wisdom. Very helpful. Down to business. My overhead map lights/compass/outdoor temp unit does work. At all. Wondering where to start and what to do to fix it. I know it's stupid but when it comes to anything electrical I have zero patience. Thanks for any help!

Are we talking about your F150?
Here we deal with the 6.0L Diesel
You need to check fuses first. If you can get your hands on
a wiring diagram. Also explain how this problem came on.
Had any work been done before this started?
Give as much info as you can.
You could have a broken wire

Nope it's a 2003 f350. I purchased the truck with the overhead unit not working so I don't have any past history on it.

 

You will have to do some back tracing to help
identify where the fault is.
I take it that the dash lamps work and you get
info on the small screen in the odometer. Do you have the
EATC? (electronic air temp control).
I'll be back later Friday after some sleep.

No EATC. Everything else in the cab works fine. Havin other issues but I'll save that for a later date. Thanks a lot.
