elec. fan

so far mine has the stock clutch fan and a little 12" pusher fan off some unknown GM application. last week i was towing and still got pretty warm - 230 on minor hills, 245 on the worst hill, where i chose to slow down quite a bit to help it out. so that little guy isn't helping a ton. i plan to add a couple more pushers on there to help more.
others have used the fan from one of the minivans - i can't remember if it was the aerostar or the windstar - but its the one that offers the same engines as the ford taurus. i don't know how similar those fans are to the one you just got.
personally, i'm only going to lose the clutch fan if i have a big enough e-fan to exceed its airflow - but i won't hesitate to add pusher fans on the front side to supplement the stock system.
