New fan?

My shroud is all cracked up and needs to be replace so I figured I'd upgrade a couple other things as well. Truck is a 78 250 custom 351, I'd like to order from bronco graveyard, but am open to other places. I looked into electric fans a little bit but they dont seem to move the air as well, thoughts, opinions? So e-fan or upgrade and if so what blade do u suggest

If you are not going wild on the engine side of upgrades, I would go with a stock replacement shroud.

I just upgraded on a '78/400M. The original fan was fixed and ran full speed all the time. Noisy and couldn't help fuel consumption.

I used a 6 blade fan from AZ made for a clutch, a Hayden thermal fan clutch from NAPA and a 1" spacer to position the fan half way in the shroud opening. 5/16" studs from Ace hardware hold it all together. It bolted up fine and cools well. It has quieted down a bunch.

AZ was the only source I found for the re-pop fan. I used a Hayden clutch from NAPA after a bad experience with the "torqflow" brand AZ sells.

There is a deeper pitch fan also. I don't know anybody that re-pops it so a JY would be the source. It takes a higher capacity/higher torque fan clutch also available from Hayden/NAPA.
