At least it looks to be a nice day in the making, so far. Might get a shower later on, tho!
Moving right along on the whole project

You could just put on more cologne and save the shower water though.

I get a shower and change my underwear every day - whether I need it or not.

That concrete patio will be nice!

I apologize for not keeping up, but I just wanted to drop in for a personal update. After 6 long months that felt like 5 years, we finally signed separation papers last Thursday and I settled on my new place of residence yesterday! If all goes well, I should spend my first night in the house tomorrow. We should have just about everything moved this weekend, but I'm only moving 4 miles and it isn't like a new owner took over the old house so I have time if I need it.

Even though I have a lot of hard work ahead of me to get fully settled, things are getting better for me. The kids seem excited about having something different, but I still worry about how well they will adjust to an every other week schedule. I'm starting to think that my son is more excited about the 30x45 shop than I am!

At any rate, no real Superduty news from me. I just wanted to let y'all know I'm still kicking and even making a little progress. Hopefully I can find time to re-engage the One Page soon. I may even find time to start enjoying a few adult sodas now as well!

glad to hear things are improving.. as someone who has gone thru this, in my opinion, the most important thing is consistent rules for the kids between u and ex. you have not gotten away from her (my oldest 2 were 25 before I didn't have to deal with my ex).

my son is going thru this now, and his ex is not willing so far to enforce any rules (same problem as before). kids stay up til they drop, only eat what they want, on and on..

Dak, the difference in those chicks and the other is what a friend of mine calls "lickachicks"!! I say both are edible, only one digestible
Gonna read up on the last few days around here. You guys have a great day and if you have family that you really care about, call or go see them today. I used to see my grandparents everyday as I lived with them for 5 years after my house burned. Would give anything to talk to them just one more time. Good, safe day to you guys! And gals!
Monty, sorry for your loss.
Take care and relax a bit !

Great to see you back on here again Matt and thanks for the update! I know through my own personal experience that this sux, but it will pass and you will be better off in the end. You will find your new "normal" soon and things will settle down for you. You will even enjoy that adult soda that much more. I agree with what Sam said as well. Enforce the rules on the kids and don't let them play you and your ex off of each other. My daughter doesn't try to play me and mine off of each other, but my ex DOES seem to want to be her friend rather than her parent and my daughter pushes her around.

Matt, thanks for the update. Can't speak from experience as my divorce I had no kids at that time.

The new place has a large shop? At least something is gained from it all.
