This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Miami it is tourists. Lifetime tourists from foreign countries... They grew up in areas with no traffic rules or laws. Upon arrival at MIA they go to a counter where they are automatically issued a Florida Driver's License and because of other rules and laws they are given a medical card which gives them free medical care with no deductibles (unlike the very expensive policy I have that has high premiums, out of pocket, and co-pays), and free room and board...
Anyways, heat wave is up here too. Forecast is mid-40s, but the sun hasn't come up yet and it is already 34F. I would not be surprised to see 50F....
Ohh huge solar flare coming. I wonder how far south the Auroras will be.

The suggested process is to eat them before they turn into biological warfare experiments.........
Evening guys!
Happy St. Paddy's Day!
Dak, I ended up renting a Transit Van, amazing how much junk that thing is capable of hauling. Downtown New Orleans was still an adventure, not as much as it would've been had I drove the 250, dragging a 16' trailer!
Anyway, wife's happy, got her new antique furnishings home safe and sound.
Doug, not sure it's all tourists that is the problem in NOLA, certain times it is, of course. But it's mostly the indigenous population, tourist usually walk after arriving, most everything is in a small area, it's just the combination of pedestrians, condition of the streets, amount of vehicles that gets old. You will always be in a traffic jam, whether an accident, someone breaks down, whatever. One way streets that may, or may not have a sign! And folks that can't read when there is one! It's an experience, to say the least. The major highways around the city isn't that bad, just downtown sux!
We got in NOLA around noon, and the bars were in full force for the St. Patrick's Day!, (or maybe because it was Tuesday). Most patrons were sitting outside, they're known to wander into traffic also.
Y'all have a good un!
