I have to change the Head Gasket and Rear Main Seal on my 7.3 IDI, I'm praying that the heads are fine, but we will see.
What kind of mods should I consider doing to the engine while I have it that far apart?
Are there any tips or tricks you guys can offer to make this any faster or easier?
I read something about a stud kit for the Heads without a turbo is it worth putting one on?
and I have been thinking about installing a turbo, would this be the best time to do so?

Head studs are the big one. If you ever plan to run a turbo head studs are a good investment. Some will say theyre good insurance even without a turbo, IMO not needed unless you plan to put boost to it.

 

I heard they were 6+ from summit is there anywhere else I could find them cheaper by chance
