Not firing and blowing 20a power train fuse

Have 1995 250 heavy, 7.3 turbo diesel 4x4, just finished installing a new torque convertor and was blowing fuse marked 9 it's a 20a and truck would turn over and not fire, battery also had low cranking even after charge. Have ordered new heat plate for fuel bowl but was stilling blowing fuse after disconneting wire to heat plate at spade connection. So then unplugged all wiring harness to tranny as was recently removed for tc replacement, and had wait to start light come back and not blowing fuse, then during reinstall of wiring harness fuse went again at key turned on but not turning key for crank over. So then had passenger side wiring harness on tranny checked at ford and was good, they said check main feed harness, which will happen tommorw.

But am looking for other feedback and input on my dilemma ....thx

Are your SURE you disconnected the fuel heater?

If so, you may have a shorted harness or a bad ecm

Never mind Fuse 22 is the one that controls the ECM and Fuel heater
