Blown fuses

Blown fuses

I have a 2003, F-350. I keep blowing fuse # 22, which is the engine control fuse. Does anyone know what could be causing this. Thanks

could be your fuel filter bowl heater is shorted out, try unplugging it (at the bowl) and see if that helps

ps. if its a diesel

also check the wiring harness to the IPR (front of drivers side fuel rail on top of the head) and the main engine wiring harness that runs over the drivers side valve cover for shorts from them rubbing against things...again if its a diesel

Thanks Wlihntr..I checked all the wiring. I unplugged all three plugs from the heater. turned the key on, blew the fuse. I unplugged the mass airflow sensor and turned on the key, blew the same fuse. Anymore suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks
