Convert From Auto-Locking Hubs To Manual

Hey guys. Iv got some auto-locking hubs on my F-250. I dislike them a lot! I have yet to have my 4 wheel drive work and its not the t-case (trannys out and it all spins like it should). This means the only other option is the hubs have to be not engaging. Instead of spending money on replacing my autolocking hubs of which I disliked in the first place, how hard would it be to just swap them for some manual locking hubs? Is it as simple as removing the old, and bolting in the new? Nothings ever that simple lol

Did you have to buy a conversion kit? I want to switch to manual too.

Don’t believe the answer I provided in your thread from the manufacturer’s website stating that you need to buy the kit? According to Warn the OP of this 10 year old thread needed the conversion kit if he had three bolt auto hubs.
