My auto locking hubs are starting to play up and I am thinking of replacing with manual ones. I have been looking at WARN, superwinch and milemarker. Anyone have any feedback on any of these or any manual locking hubs?

Most guys are partial to Warn hubs, myself included. I trust them for two main reasons:
1) ALL the heavy off-roaders use Warn equipment (winches, bumpers, hubs, you name it). Search around the classifieds section on Pirate4x4 and see all the Warn equipment there.
2) Ford uses Warn manual hubs from the factor (restamped with FORD obviously)
I recently changed mine over to Warn's and I'm very satisfied with the result. If the cost difference was HUGE I would probably go with Mile Marker, but the cost is pretty comparable from most vendors.
I am favouring WARN myself. I think they have two kinds, standard and premium, or maybe thats another brand. I dont really like the milemarker one but the superwinch look good too
Yeah Warn has standard and premium hubs. The designs are pretty much the same and they both have the same end result, but the premiums have more parts made of metal instead of plastic and have almost a 360* turn on the dial to lock the hubs in place. You can read about the differences on Warn's website. I sprung for the Premiums, but only because the price difference between the two really wasn't that much and I figured why not just go with the better part. If you're on a budget and you don't do a lot of HEAVY off-road then the standards should suit you just fine.
If he didnt revive the thread, we wouldnt know that he has Warn or Mile marker hubs. My truck(not a Ford) has Spicer hubs. Sucks because I have the one that requires a lot of swearing and 3 hands to put together without making a mess and being frustrating.
