I've got a '93 IDIT that was stolen and in the process of being stripped when it was recovered. The main wiring harness under the hood was cut and now I need to replace it. Will any of the F-Series main harnesses work or does it need to be from an '93 Diesel?

 

Needs to be a diesel harness, they are totally different.

 

Would a harness from '92--94 work or are they year specific?

 

I'm guessing the wiring harness is the same across those years if not very similar. Just stay within the same generation, and engine and you should be fine.

 

Though i think the engine harness is separate so with a little work you can make it work with other harnesses.

 

Thanks for the information guys. I lucked out and found a harness from a '93 diesel so I think I should be good to go there. I hope I'm as lucky with the rest of the parts I need...
