Tire rotation?

Hello all. I got a new set of tires put on about 7500 miles ago. When I had it aligned, I also had them rotate the tires for an extra nominal charge.
Now the Haynes says to go criss cross, they went front to back. On top of that they didn"t adjust the tire pressures.
Anyway, which is procedure is correct? The criss cross method. Rears to opposite corners to the front, the fronts just drop back to the rear.
Or, front to back only with no crossing over? I thought that was the method for f.f. cars.

I know Alloro knows the answer to this one.

I just want to know if the tongue lashing I plan on giving the Service Manager is warranted or not.

Thanks again

I've always heard that with radials you should go front to back on the same side.

If the tires have a rotation direction arrow on them then only rotate them front to back. If there is no arrow then then can be rotated crisscross.
