What's my truck worth?

I'm going to sell my truck and I've heard a wide range of asking prices. Edmunds says 10,865, KBB says 11,736. I have read on FTE that these trucks can fetch upwards of 14,000. Realistically my truck is not a 10 but I would say an honest 8.5-9. It has been very well taken care of and the only thing that doesn't work is the door lock remote. I fixed them a few years ago but when I had the bottom of the doors glass bead blasted some of the grit went into the lock mechanism and they need to be cleaned out. Truck runs awesome and no oil leaks or abnormal oil consumption.
I'm posting here cause you folks know what you are talking about and have a real sense of what these trucks are worth. My signature pretty much covers everything except for normal maintenance and rebuilds of various parts.
Things that may influence the selling price
Warn manual locking hubs
New 2009 bed 8'
Never used for plowing snow
Never had a lift kit
Has only had a Super Tuner programmer
Aftermarket brake controller
2011 HD4R100 trans. With approx. 6k miles on it
Aftermarket transmission oil filter
The rest is in my signature
Just looking for fair appraisal price to start at.
Thanks, Glenn

the current asking price has a lot to due with location. I live in CA but if I ever sell my truck I will most likely take it back to WY because I can get much more for it. How many miles do you have on it and what state are you located in?

His profile says Maine and the mileage is under 200K.

Snow country always wants 4X4, so that bumps its value in your area. It's worth 10 to a soccer mom and 12-13 to someone with horses. Ask for 14 OBO and see what flies. I listed a '92 Toyota 4X4 EC with over 200K miles on CL for $4000 - this was way over KBB. It was gone in hours (buyer from 140 miles away) and the phone was off-da-hook... I should have asked for more money. It turns out my old '92 engine was as highly regarded in the gas world as our engines are in the diesel world.

I've seen nice 7.3's going for 14-16k around here lately. The prices on these trucks have come up the last few yrs in these parts. My buddy has an immaculate loaded 6.0 and can't give it away, dealership told him they'd give him 10k for it.

Have 168K on the odometer. Have someone interested in Ohio. Waiting for his reply. If not I will put it on EBay Classifieds and Craigs List

Depends where you live. Up here in Seattle they are at a premium, IMO.
I also had a hard time finding a clean 1 owner low miles no accidents, clean carfax truck (my needs for comfort zone). I paid $15k for mine a little over a year ago and don't regret it. I scan the classifieds and Craigslist and see nothing clean and low miles for $15k. I bought mine with 109k on it along with several mods I wanted already done-Intake, 4" turbo back, leveled, airbags and 33's. I have an 02 EC-LB 4X4.

I'm pretty picky and it's pretty damn clean too. My 2 cents....

I live in New York, but my truck is only on the road from April until September. When it is not pulling my 5th wheel it is in the barn and out of the weather. That's why it only has 35,000 miles on it. Being that it is CLEAN,CLEAN,CLEAN I guess that makes it worth about $15,000. After I sell my 5th wheel this year I will be selling my truck. Thanks for letting me know about how much it is worth.
