96 F150 steering wheel bearing

Hey guys,

I am seriously considering buying a 96 f150. The only problem with it is that it needs a steering wheel bearing. Im pretty new to this whole thing, so Im not sure whether thats a quick fix, an expensive fix, etc. Is it something you can easily do yourself or something you need a mechanic to work on. Cost??

Thanks!!

Mike

You dont need a mechanic, but you do need to be mechanically inclined. Two choice..
1 - rebuild the column
2 - Get one from a junker vehicle and swap it.

Just a bunch of bolts and wires that hold the column in.
