I talked to shop about that today, but he said it's usually caused from water instead of antifreeze used, which coroids the lines, he could patch it like you did, but it could blow elsewhere, namely when youre driving and you'd never really know it. He wants to replace the lines front to back. I'm regretting the purchase of this X and I'm going to push for lot to take back or fix, TOO many things wrong with this one.

Yeah. In this case I think it was a known issue with the welds weakening the steel lines. Its funny. With that van, I looked for the cheapest fix I could find. With the X, for some reason I look to fix stuff "right."
