If Deltas are bad then yes you need an oil cooler

As far as the EGR Deleate here is the way I see it
1.Nothing to Fail if its GONE so risk of Hydro Lock is slim
2.I gained 1 and maybe 2 MPG
3. Intake stays way cleaner
4. the sensors within the intake stay cleaner
5. Theres NO Gain from a EGR System

Hey no problem your welcome

Really just paying it Back/forward as I have received a TON of help from the FTE Members on here as well

Its kinda alittle mission of mine to help folks if I can avoid getting taken advantage of at some of these shops out there. There are some Great Shops/Mechanics but theres also some bad ones and even some shops that know there stuff but know dang well the owner doesnt know all the In & Outs and so they throw a bunch of extra stuff at it to drive the Bill High.

Around X-Mas I went threw a deal similair with the wife car. She slide off the road in snow storm. So I take this car to the Preffered shop of the insurance company thinking that would be best. Boy was I WRONG or maybe I was right. But they looked at it and said it was Totaled well I had looked at it already and knew the liklyhood of it being totaled was slim but I didnt know thought I might have missed something. There repair bill was 5600.00 range at that shop

Long storey short they totaled it and owe me 1600.00 I took car back for 1K they sent a check for 600.00 remainder

Well it only cost me 400.00 to get back on the road and its not one of those cars you see that has Body damage either. You cant even tell. the Frame was NOT bent at all when I really looked at it and took a tape measure to it there was a Manufacture contour on the other side Identicle. They were trying to say the Engine Craddle was Bent it was NOT. That GREAT shop couldnt tell a Manufacture contour from a Bent frame LOL

I dont know really what the story was as I asked the insurance co if that shop had ever bought back totaled vehicles from them the adjuster couldnt say one way or the other.

The shops point of veiw was they dont make any money when the vehicle totals out sounds lodgical I guess but maybe they dont want any part of it if they cant make a small Fortune eitherIDK

But somethings Definatly WRONG if I can get it on the road for 400.00 bucks and there shop was at 5600.00 bucks and the only thing I left was a Very small scratch clear up under the front wheel well you can see unless you pull the tire off it anyway.

I definatly smelled a RAT but never could put my finger on it. The shop kept telling me there was to much damage and it would be in my best Interest to walk away Ya Right it just wasnt damaged like that.

But a HUGE diffrwnce in 400.00 actual cost and 5600.00 for the shop

It paid off now and a total title it all worked in my favor in the end but it was a strange deal

Who would have thought my tow Bill on this car was higher than what it cost to get back on the road this car is supposed to be TOTALED LOL
