My dealers sticker, license plate and the flex fuel badge were off in about 5 minutes after I pulled into the driveway the night I bought it. Looks much cleaner without all that garbage on it. On my FIL's '94 lightning, the dealer actually drilled holes in his tailgate to mount their badge. He is still pissed about it 22 years later.

 

I lost my emblem when I destroyed the tailgate with my RV trailer. When I ordered the truck we had a understanding no dealer decals or I wouldn't accept the truck.

Get yourself some 50lb test monofilament and you can use it kinda like a saw to get bebind the emblem and remove it without pulling and prying on it then just remove the leftover 3m tape left behind. Took mine off on the first day I iowned mine and there are no holes behind it at least not on my 15'.

 

I'll keep mine for now till it gets beat up.

 

I haven't worried about it too much. Figure it gives the guy behind me something to read while we sit in traffic!
I feel the same way about my back window.
