Tailgate emblems

Hey,

any of you guys take off your tailgate emblem?
if so, what did you use to fill the holes besides bondo/repaint

I was a tard, and assumed it was just stickytaped on and took it about half way off when i realized it had pins in it..now im screwed.

I planned on putting a big decal there, thats why i wanted to remove the emblem. but now i dont know if i want to go through with it, cause you'd be able to see/tell where the holes are

I'd fill the holes with a nice weld, then grind it down smooth and repaint the entire thing

if you are going to put a big decal on it, why don't you just fill it, sand smooth then slap the decal over it, just go ahead with the original idea and with the holes filled and sanded, you won't even know they are there
