Where to install 0-100psi oil pressure gauge?

I have this gauge, and a few others, and I was going to try install them this weekend.
Riffraff Diesel: Oil Pressure 0-100 PSI

It's the ISSPRO EV2 R17211 0-100psi oil pressure gauge.

Any ideas where to put the sensor? I have read about putting it into the oil pressure test port but it looks like a real bear to get to.

Anyone know if it'll really be that bad to get to?
Should I use something like the Strictly Diesel Fuel Pressure Adapter that I have for my fuel pressure sensor? - will the threads be correct??

Thanks!

The LPO is one place but some do get a Diffrent Oil Filter Cap and come off the CAP

I also think the LPO Test port would be the MOST ACCURITE Since thats where it ended up during the Design/Blueprint of the 6.0L

Here is a Link I saved

LPO gauge setup

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...test-port.html

Coming off the Oil Filter Cap Might be OK too since the LPO Regulator comes Before it

Thanks Benny,

I have read that thread and sent the author some reps.

Does anyone know the threads that go into the fuel pressure port?

If it matches the oil pressure port then I think I'll go with another of the Strictly Diesel lines. I think I'll try tomorrow and see how this one goes and report back.

Fuel pressure test port thread fitting size is M12x1.5. Most gauges are 1/8" NPT.

That is a nugget of gold info right there. I did not know that. That helps how I go about this then as I do have a replacement. Now I know better about what to look for.

Can't rep you at the moment, here's an IOU

I just bought a replacement oil pressure sender.
It is note the same size/threads as the fuel pressure test port,
I am comparing it to the plug i removed to install my
FP sender.

i was thinking of using another STrictly Diesel fuel pressure
adapter as well, but it doesn't appear it will fit.
