Side pipes on my 79, finished product

Just finished installing sidepipes on my truck, sounds pretty good to me, I can't wait for the glasspacks to get more seasoned If anyone is interested in how I piped them Ill post a pic of that as well.

I always liked the sound of sidepipes. Looks like they fit on there pretty good. Being a stepside, it breaks up the length of the truck and the short pipes look good.

See, thats why i love side pipes and would put them on my rig. Sides over stacks anyday lol. Dude you should post some pics and tell us about the setup. Would like to hear how they sound also

Well I took some pics of how I ran the pipes, lots of measuring and cutting and welding and some fabricating. I had to make my own brackets to mount to the frame and under the body to hold the pipes. Pretty involved job but It was worth it. Ill upload a sound clip as soon as I get a chance.
