Parking brake arm broken

You can see at the very top between where the shoes meet there is a small hole. This is where the missing part pivots from I believe.
Does anyone know what to call the parking brake arm in the Dana 61? It's what the brake wire actually attached too and it pivots at the top of the drum between the shoes. Lol. Sorry. Hard to describe. Here's a picture of the part. This one is boogered and I need a new one.

Type of rear axle has nothing to do with the brakes. What must be known is the year and series of the truck.

Your profile sez: 1983 F250. Which parts and what side do you need?

That's for the arm but your arm looks to be good.
What I see from Bill's post is it has a bolt (2027), a few spacers (2028, 2A601), the "finger" bracket (2A142 or 2A642), washer (2106) and the nut (55690-S (M-78-A))
It looks like you have the finger bracket & washer cant tell on the spacers that are most likely rusted on to what is left of the bolt.

Tell Bill the information he needs and he can look up the full part numbers as what is listed are not them.
Good luck

edit: replace that adjuster cable as it will break in no time. Might want to see if the adjuster works and if not replace it too. I use never seize on the adjuster threads and where the shoes touch the baking plate.
What is the other side like?

I haven't pulled the other side apart. This side now has all new shoes and springs. It also has a new adjuster at the bottom.

The arm I took a picture of fell out when I pulled the drum off. The cable on it is frayed, and the hook on the end of the cable is bent

Ok you are doing good, I just did not want you to just fix the arm and not the rest.
From Bills picture it looks like all you need and a bolt & nut.
Pull the other side apart and take a look see how that side is "bolted".

I have found that the automatic adjuster cable/wire doesn't work after a while. I took it off, never to be seen again.

I know the shoes have to be adjusted occasionally....part of the PM that's done every coupla months.

Well I got the other side done today. The seal on the back of the drum wasn't sealing properly so gear oil was leaking into the brakes. The oil looks a little thin to me so I'm going to try to get the parking arm assembly back in the drivers side and change the oil!

Do you guys know what size the nut should be? I'm thinking maybe M6? Or will it be 1/4"? 2027 in NumberDummy's diagram. But mine isn't like that. Mine is a threaded rod sticking out the back of the drum, then tightened down with a nut.

The nut would need to match the threads of the bolt used.
That "rod" may have been made for Ford for that.
What ever I used it would be grade 8 and I don't know how easy it would be to find grade 8 metric?

The bolt you use my need 2 nuts, 1 on either side of the backing plate to hold the bolt (stud) out some so the shoes can move some as the stock setup does not hold everything tight to the backing plate.
