CLOYES TIMING CHAIN TRADE?
Does anyone have an extra "Cloyes 9-3108" original true roller timing set for a
360-428 FE engine that is new? I have a "Cloyes 9-3121" original true roller timing set for a 351C,351M-400 that is new and would like to trade somehow. My FE project has to be done soon and my 400 will probably never happen.
Thanks Mike

hey, im also building a 390 right now and i think im going with this tru-roller from summit racing SUM-G6608 its 37.95, unless your just a dead-set cloyes guy. I have a summit gear drive im very happy with as i am will all the summit brand parts i have. I know that cloyes is an expensive set

cloyes timing set
Thanks for the reply. I have used cheaper timing sets in the past with no problems except chain strength. This application will be for a 427 high riser in a jet boat seeing 5000-6500 rpm. If I can't find somebody to work out a trade I will make someone a good deal on this set. I know this set is expensive but the original cloyes is a very good product and saving $40-$50 is not worth it in my opinion. I put this on this site because these years of Fords have FE and 351/400 engines. I had to sell my '79 F150 and my only toy now is my boat , but I have two cute kids.
Thanks
Thanks
