Hah! Glasses are a matter of time for most of us. My wife keeps telling me I'm there already, but I'm holding out.

Yup, 5 years ago my eyes were fine, now I can't read or do anything up close without them, my vision is perfect long distance.

Weird thing happens when you hit your 50's, your arms aren't long enough to read the paper.

Uh oh. Somebody's thinking pretty hard on a new Super Duty.

For me, if the day ever comes, the dealer would get it as-is.

I ordered and installed a new Stant coolant reservoir cap. I had just a dribble of coolant around the overflow bottle. I'm praying it's from a bad cap and not something more sinister. I usually start at the most expensive fix and work backwards but for 5 bucks at Amazon, I couldn't pass it up. Next day Prime shipping brought the total up to around 11 dollars.

Doc said it was the 40 year old syndrome. I needed glasses just before but just about every 6 months after 40 my arms get shorter and shorter

Changed my shocks today. Made a good bit of difference. Can feel the bumps but can't tell when you run over an ant now. Lots better in a turn too which I really didn't notice before. Old shocks were original too. They make it to almost 160K. I think it is a good sign for doing the ball joints that the shocks although rusty came off without much fuss. I did find that I do have a rear sway bar. I didn't think it had one

Actually (ducks behind wall) I'm likely ordering a 2016 F150 5.0 V8 super crew.

It would suit everything I need it to do just fine.

I could swing keeping the 6.0, but then it would end up sitting and we all know the 6.0 hates that, and I would hate leaving it just sitting around as well.

I would reinstall the kitty, no issue with that, just not sure I want to waste a couple hours reinstalling an EGR cooler.

You know that they sometimes have a mind of there own like Herbie The Love Bug. I could just see it
A little bug taking on a 2016 F-series and winning. But then have a 6.0 beat up your new truck would
be more like brothers getting in a fight. No major harm just scratches, scrapes and maybe a little blood.
Find a happy place for the 6.0. In other words not the dealership.

I just drove a new 5.0 super crew the other day. Those are sweet, if I didn't need a 1 ton I'd get one for sure.

I may be going in the same direction next spring. But I need a SC 8' bed with the heavy load option. However I'll still look at an F250 with the gas option too.

I had mine wound up to 80 on the highway. Looked down at the boost gauge to see it reading 15psi at the time. Was a little surprised at that. But nice to know the turbo was working. Lol although shes not happy now sitting outside in the cold.

Once up to speed it should not take a lot of boost to keep
you there unless your towing jumbo the Fat Lady that is late
for the end of the opera.

The 6.0 does seem to bark and growl a bit more when left out in the cold all night.
