lets see...ive done probably 500+ miles since yesterday. Went an hour east in CT for a dnyo day, then followed friends 1.5 hours north to Mass for a fire...then in the morning went to breakfast, then headed 2 hours north to NH, then an hour east for a rescue lol...then back to MA and home. 6.0 ran great and we made LOTS of 6.0 noises in the boston tunnels
Only issue with the truck was a screw in my tire which i just pulled out and plugged. 16 and 17.3 mpg with 4 people and 75-80mph
Next long tunnel you have to make a video. Turn the radio off and just
catch the nice 6.0 sounds for us that don't have any good tunnels anymore.
The only reason I miss the Asarco plant in Ruston WA. Wonderful tunnel.
Just the right size for very good engine echoes.
Oh there's about 10 videos on my facebook but idk how to put them here lol. All the tunnels have lots of traffic so I can only get on it for a few seconds...but a 5" straight piped 03 is amazing haha
I blew out the Baltimore Harbor tunnel this weekend, dual pipes and it was wonderful music........wife had other reservations thou, told me to knock it off before I get a ticket
Put the heads in the back of dads truck so he can take them in to be checked while im at work... and just ordered a buttload of parts to put on the truck...
No, not new fittings. Consider this a repair on heavy equipment in the middle of nowhere where if the machine was shut down the company would lose $50k a day.
Josh
He said I over tightened the fittings and damaged the connection and that is why I am getting a small drip from the fittings. Is this possible with AN fittings?

Yes, They have a torque value that is dependent on size and maternal
that they are made from.
If they are steel or stainless then you will use a different value and
that should be on the web with a quick Google search.
Search with " Torque value for steel or stainless steel AN fittings"
cuz the one next to me carries none... always good to have back up... and next time i have to change the coolant in the mustang was thinking of converting it over to...

Reminds me of when my wife tells me not to race Chebby's. I have to oblige when they're asking for it.
