I did a restoration for a guy on his 1936 Cord. He did all the final assembly himself. He had all the front sheet metal in the dining room of his home. The hood on the dining table, and the fenders, grille, etc., around in place of the chairs. They were there for several years. Needless to say they ate their meals in the kitchen. He had a very understanding wife.

So those are them? That's good stuff! I'm glad to see they found a good home. They were way too nice to let go to waste.

Yep, Just finished dinner and luckily my cooking dinner masked any smell of fresh paint, Nobody even noticed the array of parts until after dinner when
I told my Daughter to go see mom's new furniture; She goes in there with my wife curiously following behind her, My Daughter say's "I like it" and I get the "REALLY" statement and rolling the head movement from my wife.... I'm then quick to point out that it's only for a couple days till I get a spot cleared out for them in the garage. whew; close one...

I think your re-decorating job is perfect! Much better than some stuffy furniture...
