Lightbulb Is it possible to upgrade heater controls to digital

I have a 2000 Limited Ex and was wondering if anyone has upgraded the heater controls to the digital controls. What would have to be done to accomplish this task?
Any information will be appreciated!

Just my thoughts I could be way off but i don't see why you couldn't just steal a control module and display and just figure out the wiring and connect it as needed? Best bet is to take a look at how your controls work and take a look at the electronic one to see if it looks simple enough.
Anything is possible!

People said the same thing about getting the radio/fan controls to work in an Ex that just had cruise buttons. I figured out how to do it and got it done. Had to take many shots in the dark, but I'm happy as a clam in the end.

Hang on there. So you can upgrade/mod to get radio and fan controls from an 04-05 to work on the earlier models. Please tell me there is a link somewhere for this.

If you have the digital HVAC already, you can get it all to work. So that would probably only apply to '02-'05 I believe, as I think everything had the manual version in 2000-2001.
