Thanks for posting the picture as I missed seeing that one. Did anyone ask the individual to leave?

We had a similar issue at the GSM F100 Run. A couple of us literally drug that Chevy out of the show. I won't post any pictures, but those powerstroke fords have a lot of pulling power.

I have pictures of Dodges and Chevys at the Pigeon Forge Show. I believe the Dodge even won a Trophy.
Yep, the first and only time I went in 1987, I had entered the most unusual truck contest (I had the only 1955 F250 there) a Dodge won.

I went last year and then a couple years before that when it was still in Knoxville. Personally I liked the show alot better when it was in Knoxville, well there was a lot more stuff there anyway. The show in Pigeon Forge was nice, but honestly unless you just want to take a vacation(there is tons to do in Pigeon Forge and the areas around it I wouldn't fly from anywhere to come to it. Honestly you'd probably be let down if you drove three+ hours to get there.

I agree. If you're gonna come a long distance, make a vacation of it in the Smokies/Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, etc. Don't just come for the show, especially if you bring your family. I also agree that Chilhowie Park is a much better facility for the SHOW itself, BUT, on the other hand, that area outside the gates of Chilhowie Park can be a little hairy at times. I've heard of people having to deal with thugs just outside the gates. Although Chilhowie has the green grass, amenities, etc, I think it's better for our families (especially children) if the show is in Pigeon Forge. That's especially true if they're gonna go out and enjoy the attractions, shop, eat, etc.

Doc's statement is very accurate. The last few years Pat Ford owned the F100 Supernationals the attendance was dropping way off as NumberDummy experienced. The last year the show was held in Knoxville I believe there were only around 400 or so trucks that showed up. Given the fact that there were over 700 trucks last year, I think that the show is improving. So, the move from Knoxville back to Pigeon Forge was a good move. I agree that there probably is a better location than a big parking lot, but have heard rumors that Mr. Cobble is working on something much better.
