New to the site & new Excursion owner

Hey all I really like the site Tons of great info & knowledge from what I've seen in just a short amount of time I just recently bought my 2003 V-10 Excursion that was already setup 95% to my style. I've got a very nice stereo system with a Pioneer Avic D3 head unit, all Kicker components, Kicker 10" L5 Solo-Baric, and 2 Kicker amps (1 class D sub amp & the other 4 channel for the components), backup camera, 6.5" monitors in the headrest. Riding on a 10" suspension lift, dual remote res. shocks up front, dual steering stabilizer, singles in the rear, procomp traction bars, 24" chrome XD RockStars, 38" Kumho MT's. It has a C.A.I, Optima Yellow Top, and I just ordered my SCT SF3 programmer (it'll be here Tuesday). And finally I had my front door glass tinted to 18% to match the factory tinted glass. I look forward to using all the valuable information on here when the time comes for, which is hopefully no time soon!!!!! And also sharing some helpful info to hopefully help someone out of a bind.

Here's a few pics of my new rig Lemme know what you all think.....I do want to go with 40" rubbers once I squeeze all the life out of these 38"

Welcome to FTE and The EX forum.
While I don't have an EX myself (My E-350SD has more headroom) the information about the 6.8L and other things to be found here is second to none.

Thanks to all for the welcomes and the compliments!! I've been busy over the past few days and just now getting a chance to check back in.

Jmatthews the sub is mounted on the drivers side rear where the stock spare was located. It's just 1 kicker L5 solo-baric 10" and both amps are located there as well. Takes up less room than the spare does/did

I'm dying to get a set of the "big" mirrors. I sit so high I can't see crap out of those tiny mirrors Just glad I got a backup camera for backing out of parking spots There's a lot of nice looking EXs on here, from stock to lifted. I'm really happy I joinded this site!! I think between all the awesome ppl, tech articles, and my mechanical skills I won't have to take this beast anywhere for repair/diagnostics.

BTW.....I took off work today to wait on the UPS guy to bring my SCT SF3 programmer today

Just wait.. Just Wait.. I was saying the same thing. Mine is set just about like what I want it.. Then NOW.. Its headlights, different tow mirros, back up camera, Headunit for sterio and the list grows on and on..

PS.. With the aftermarket radio do you lose function of the 2nd row controls? This is the only thing keeping me from upgrading mine

I now exactly what you're saying!!! I do know that I will be getting either Road Armor or FabFours front and rear bumpers, bushwhacker flares, remove the stock running boards and replacing with a set of AMP automatic running boards, and then............................

I would love to answer your question, but not exactly sure what you're asking about 2nd row controls I want to know what you're asking about tho, because I may be missing something Let me know what I need to check and I'll let you know, and now i'm curious about this!!!! lol
